The climate/weather in Machu Picchu is very distinctive and is perfect in the dry season. Most temperatures in Machu Picchu throughout the year range from 66* F- 82* F highs and 50* F - 64* F lows. There are 2 main seasons in Machu Picchu: dry and wet. The dry season consists of sunny weather and clear skies during the day, and mildly cold temperatures at night (mainly due to the elevation), and ranges from May-September. The wet season consists of colder temperatures and lies from October-April, with the wettest starting January at the earliest. The perfect weather of the dry season makes Machu Picchu extremely distinctive.
